20th December 2024. 🥰🌲Sing & Smile!🌲🥰 Today we welcomed Susan & David back into the home, also known as Sing and Smile....the most fitting of names for this wonderful duo! Residents, loved ones, and the team, couldn't help but don their dancing shoes and sing their hearts out to all the Christmas hits of the decades! A huge thank you to Susan & David for a fabulously fun-filled festive afternoon! 💕

4th November 2024. 🎙️We all had a fantastic time this afternoon. Thank you to Sing & Smile Duo for coming into Iris Court for the first time to entertain us! It was Fantastic to see our residents enjoying the performance so much , with our lovely resident ambassador, Mary, getting up to join in for a song and also getting our residents dancing along too! 🎙️💃 Great fun. Lovely couple that got everyone involved, it was really enjoyable!!

23rd October 2024. We had a fab afternoon today with Sing and Smile Duo. It was great to see everyone joining in , singing, dancing, clapping and even playing the instruments. Lots of happy faces all round. 😀 What a lovely afternoon for everyone, 💯 perfect x

13th September 2024. Yesterday afternoon we were joined by Sing and Smile Duo and what a fantastic afternoon we all had. We laughed, we sang, and danced the afternoon away. Thanks again Sing and Smile Duo you will definitely be returning very soon. Staff and family members and residents all got involved and it was so amazing to see. Was a brilliant afternoon full of fun xxx. Residents absolutely loved it xx. Thanks so much, what an amazing afternoon we had xxx.

2nd September 2024. Wow, What a Monday.... In the morning we did some light exercise and in the afternoon we were joined by Sing and Smile Duo who made the home electric and got us dancing, singing and playing instruments.

30th July 2024. The afternoon was busy....with good old music. In this afternoon we had the 'Sing and Smile Duo' in a fantastic show. It was a great afternoon, as so many of us said, singing and dancing. Even the management team left their busy office to join us for a while. "Brilliant afternoon x", "They were really good them today 🥇🏆", "Fab! Music was amazing and everyone joins in ❤️"

15th July 2024. Today at Kirkburn we welcomed the 'Sing and Smile Duo' all the way from England. 😀 They even wore their tartan trousers, just for their Scottish visit! 👍 We were treated to a real mix of music - ranging from the 1920's all the way up to modern day. 🎼 We also joined in with the musical instruments and Jack was the star of the show with his guitar solo! 🎸🎸 What a great afternoon we had - filled with lots of fun! 👍

11th July 2024. Thank you very much for coming to Fairview this week and putting on a brilliant performance! Our residents and staff had a brilliant time!

28th June 2024. We had the pleasure of having Sing and Smile perform for us for our 'Dancing Through the Decades' themed week. And, like the show they put on for our Christmas party, they brought energy, fantastic singing, instruments, a lot of audience engagement, and a whole lot of fun and smiles to our residents. We had a room full of people enjoying themselves, and all residents I spoke to after the event commented on how much they enjoyed it. Thanks again to you both for doing an exceptional job - we can’t wait to invite you back!

25th May 2024. Can't thank you enough for how amazing you were! Our residents didn’t stop singing and dancing! Had nothing but amazing compliments of you from staff and residents! Thanks again🙌🏽❤️

2nd December 2023. Sing and Smile have performed many times at our care home and residents absolutely love them! They have great interaction with residents and always get everyone up singing & dancing!

25th September 2023. Susan and David were absolutely brilliant. They were super interactive with folks encouraging participation from everyone. I have worked in the Care sector for 40 years and 'Sing and Smile' are the best entertainment act I have ever seen in a Care Establishment.

20th August 2023. We had a wonderful evening with David and Susan (Sing and Smile) at 'Scorton Feast'. Everyone there enjoyed all the songs and dancing and can’t wait to do it again. Thank you for coming as, officially, you were on your honeymoon after your wedding the day before.

14th June 2023. 'Sing and Smile' came to our home again today and, just like the first time, they were fabulous! We can't wait to see you again in a few months 😊

7th May 2023. Residents enjoyed a splendid afternoon of food from the 'Hogfather' and entertainment from 'Sing and Smile' following the Coronation. Susan and David, of 'Sing and Smile', kept us royally entertained with their superb medley of 50’s, 60’s and 70’s hits. Thanks to you both for providing excellent entertainment.

13th December 2022. "🎶🥰Sing & Smile!🥰🎶 We were treated to a festive sing along with Susan & David from 'Sing and Smile'. The jolly sing along had everyone toe tapping & showcasing their fancy footwork! A fabulous time was had by all, a big thank you to Susan & David for a great afternoon! 💕."

20th October 2022. "David and Susan came to the Falls of Dochart Retirement Home and gave our residents an amazing show! Their music was fantastic and they interacted so well with our residents. 5 stars! Can't wait to have you back 🙂."

24th September 2022. "What can I say, "Sing & Smile" is exactly as it says on the tin! If you want to have your party guests singing and dancing you need to get the lovely David & Susan, aka "Sing & Smile", along to get the party started. They are so professional and just beautiful people inside & out. They really made my mum's 90th birthday very special and all her friends and family were singing and dancing along to all the songs. David & Susan even risked their reputation by allowing mum and I to do the odd number! Keep up the good work you two, you're fab."

29th August 2022. "Thank you so much for bringing joy and lots of smiles to our lovely residents today. Your music 🎶 was the best therapy to start the week. To watch residents interacting with such enthusiasm is precious. You are both so professional as well as super friendly and warm. 6th June 2022. "💂👑 A Royal party to celebrate a Royal event 👑💂‍♀️ We all had so much fun at Normanby House today. We had live entertainment from singers 'SING and SMILE' (Susan & David) 🎶🎤 We’ve all enjoyed a dance and sing a long! I’ve never seen the residents so enthusiastic."

11th April 2022. "We had a fantastic afternoon with Susan and David from Sing and Smile. And that's exactly what all our residents did, they sang and they smiled. Scripts were provided for those that wanted to follow along, but most knew all the words and actions, even where to clap during renditions. We will definitely be inviting them back again, it was so lovely to see our residents smiling and singing and taking part with such obvious enjoyment."

19th August 2021. "This week musical duo Susan & David from Sing & Smile joined us for an afternoon of 50s, 60s and 70s sing-along! Residents joined the duo singing their hearts out to classics such as 'Teenager in Love' and 'Amarillo'. A wonderful afternoon was had by all; the singing certainly did leave us smiling!"

13th August 2021. "Residents recently enjoyed some fabulous entertainment from the talented husband and wife duo, Susan and David, with their 'Sing & Smile' routine. There was certainly a lot of smiling and singing along".
